UK Teens Busted for Running Criminal Version of Facebook

Three British teens who ran the world’s largest online crime forum, were jailed in court this week for their roles in the site which served as a clearing house for credit card details and valued at more than $US26 million.

Gh0stMarket.net quickly gained an underground reputation for dodgy credit details, in addition to providing forum members with access to handbooks on how to stay anonymous and manuals on how cook crystal meth and produce explosives.

The site was routinely compared to as the criminal version of Facebook and had over 8000 members. The game was ultimately up when one of the site’s owners tried to pay for a hotel bill using stolen credit card details. Not so smart when you think about it.
