Samsung Galaxy Tab Reborn As World’s Thinnest Tablet

Joining the original 7-inch Tab and the 10.1-incher that was announced last month, Samsung’s 8.9-inch Galaxy Tab runs Android 3.0 and is supposedly the world’s thinnest tablet, at 8.6mm thick – just a hair thinner than the iPad 2, in other words.

The screen has a 1280×600 resolution, and inside there’s a 1GHz dual-core processor humming away. Details on availability and pricing haven’t been confirmed by Samsung just yet. [BGR]
