Panasonic GF2 Gets An Aussie Pricetag And Our Lust

Back in November, Panasonic unleashed their tiniest Micro-Four Thirds camera yet, the GF2. Well, “announced” is probably more appropriate a description than unleashed given they’ve only recently delivered a local price. The good news is that the price is attractive!

Panasonic will sell the GF2 in a variety of kits, with prices below:

Pricing
DMC-GF2 Twin Lens Kit $1,199 RRP
DMC-GF2 Single Lens Kit $999 RRP
Lens kits
DMC-GF2 with LUMIX G 14mm / F2.5 ASPH (H-H014) $999 RRP
DMC-GF2 with LUMIX G VARIO 14-42mm /F3.5-5.6 ASPH / MEGA O.I.S
(H-FS014042E) $999 RRP
DMC-GF2 twin lens kit (H-H014 and H-FS014042E) $1199 RRP

Considering you’ll be able to get the camera even cheaper than the RRP, this looks like a great little camera for someone looking to step up into the interchangeable lens market.
