I really didn’t like the look of One World Trade Center – aka Freedom Tower, the tallest building of the new World Trade Center complex in New York – until today, when I saw this beautiful day-and-night time lapse video.
While it’s a mix of CGI and real footage, the new building really looks impressive from this perspective. One WTC will be shorter than the Burj Khalifa, but it will be the tallest office-only building in the world and the tallest in America: 1776 feet (541m) – the year of the United States Declaration of Independence.
