A video of Friday’s horrific tsunami has come to light, showing some of the 95 per cent of the town of Minamisanriku that was wiped out. I will warn you, the video is deeply upsetting.
Around 10,000 people are still missing from the town, which had a population of approximately 17,000. Seeing people’s houses swirling around in a brew of debris is one of the most disturbing images I’ve seen of the Japanese disaster yet – it’s incredibly sad, needless to say. [CNN]
