If you’re an Android smartphone user, you’re probably done plenty of head scratching, as you wait for the banks and other commercial sites to deliver decent Android apps. Memo to web developers: we don’t all own a iPhone and pledge our allegiance to the cult of Apple.
The Android app is said to have faster loading times and customisable screen sizes, although the bank fails to stipulate any other discernible differences between the Apple and Google developed versions.
Given that an iPhone app for the ‘Which Bank?’ launched two years ago, one would have hoped for Australia’s largest bank to have developed an Android app a little quicker. Given that Android is now the biggest growing OS around, hopefully other execs will take notice.
