Amazon Takes Away Kindle API For Book-Sharing Site Lendle

Ebook sharing site Lendle has lost access to Amazon’s ebook APIs, effectively shutting them down. Lendle took advantage of the Kindle book lending feature, connecting random users who wanted to swap books digitally.

Lendle was a bit bummed out, to say the least:

Amazon has revoked Lendle’s API access. This is why the site is down. It’s sad and unfortunate that Amazon is shutting down Lending sites.
