Acer: LTE-Compatible Tablets By End Of This Year

title=At the launch of the Acer Iconia tablet range yesterday, Acer’s product manager for mobile devices David Niu (or Sulu in the video, if you watched it) told us that Acer would have LTE compatible products on the market by the end of the year.

Given that Telstra is planning on launching its LTE network this year using the 1800MHz spectrum in capital cities, news that there will be dedicated devices capable of taking advantage of the high speed network isn’t really surprising.

There’s no word on whether or not these will be new products, or different SKUs of the current Iconia range, but Niu confirmed they’re definitely coming.
