Panasonic’s New Lumix Models Unveiled

Panasonic have just unveiled details on their new lineup of compact cameras and camcorders. Full list of cameras and features below!

Lumix TZ20

The latest version of Panny’s awesome TZ travel series, the TZ20 has a 14.1MP sensor, 16x optical zoom and a 24mm wide angle Leica lens. There’s a 3-inch touchscreen, with GPS included and a sensor fast enough for handheld night shots. It will launch in April for $599.

Lumix TZ18
The same as the TZ20, yet without the included GPS functionality or the ability to shoot FullHD video, and a slightly slower processing engine. It will launch in April for $499.

Lumix FT3

Panasonic’s latest tough camera, the FT3 is a 12.1MP rugged beast waterproof to 12 metres, shockproof to 2 metres and freezeproof to -10ºC. The FT3 introduces a GPS sensor for goetagging photos while a compass, altimeter and barometer make it a solid companion to the adventurous type. With a 4.6x optical zoom and Full HD video recording, it’s an impressive little unit for $599 and will launch in March.

Lumix FX78

A compact little number with a 3.5-inch touchscreen, 5x optical zoom, 12.1MP CCD and Full HD video recording. Available April for $499

Lumix FH27 and FH25

Moving into the cheaper end of the spectrum, the Lumix FH27 and FH25 offer 8x optical zoom, 16.1MP and a 3-inch touchscreen on the FH27. Both will launch in March, with the FH25 costing $299 and the FH27 costing $349.

Lumix FH5 and FH2
If you’re after a cheap entry camera, Panny have just launched the FH2 and FH5, two slim compacts with 4x optical zoom and 28mm wide angle lenses. $249 and $199 respectively, launching March.
