Living Life At The Speed Of Breaking Glass

Ready for one of those “deep” and “meaningful” explanations of an art piece’s significance?

The sculpture above – entitled Glass Rider and made of broken drinking glasses and bottles of liquor – apparently “symbolises the fragility of the current speed of life and its consumption’s”.

In my very unprofessional opinion though, it really symbolizes an artist’s need to explain a pile of trash in his apartment. “Oh this stuff? It’s just the materials for my next sculpture, babe.” [Studio Re-Creation via MoCo Loco]
