Homes Of The Future Will Have Tough Gorilla Glass Windows, Says Corning

Bolshy Corning told me that they can envision a future where all our windows are made from Gorilla Glass – the tough as nails glass used in devices such as the Dell Streak, LG Optimus 7 and upcoming Sony Bravia TVs.

In fact, they’ve even gone as far as filming that future world where glass is no longer fragile, and can be used in pretty much every area of our lives. It’s obviously a long way off, but doesn’t the potential of this stuff just get you dreaming of unbreakable car windows, and huge beachside houses like this one coated in the stuff? [Corning]
