Uh oh, our Jason Chen is going to be pissed when he sees this news. In-flight Wi-Fi’s set to get even slower, now that Gogo is giving away free Facebook access on seven of the major airlines.
That’s Virgin America, United and American Airlines, Delta, AirTran, US Airways and even Alaska Airlines. Only Facebook will be free (for the month of February), but you can upgrade to the usual cost of $US5 for a short flight, or $US13 for a long one, and get access to pretty much any site you want.
