A Sports Illustrated Android Subscription Will Cost $US4 Per Month

Just because Apple’s got a chokehold on iPad magazine distribution doesn’t mean that other tablets won’t allow a subscription model. Up first: Sports Illustrated for Android, which will cost $US4/month on its own, $US5/month (or $US48/year) for a combined print and digital subscription.

The SI “All Access” Android apps (one for Galaxy Tab, one for smartphones) is available today, while a webOS version will be ready in time for the HP TouchPad launch later this year. [PR Newswire]
