Winter Never Looked So Magical Before

I have a love-hate relationship with snow in New York. So beautiful at 7am. So dirty sad one hour later. This dreamy short film, however, makes Winter look like the most beautiful and peaceful of the seasons.

Shot with a Canon 550D in the Netherlands, edited to Paul Reeves’ Ice Dance by Kasper Bak, this film embodies the fantasy of a perfect snow world caressed by a warm sun. Maybe I’m idealising it because it brings back childhood memories of my first time in Sweden, but I can’t imagine a more charming place to spend a endless winter by a fireplace, skating to see friends in the gentle mornings, reading books and drinking whiskey and hot chocolate at night.

Two nights, to be exact. Then I will take a plane to Kamala Beach, thank you very much.
