The MySpace Of Jared Loughner, The Guy Who Shot A Congresswoman, Hinted At Violence

This is supposed to be the MySpace of Jared Loughner, the 22-year old kid who shot Congresswoman Gabrielle Giffords, wounded 12 and killed a federal judge today. It’s unsettling to see the kid’s placement of violence against a US History textbook.

The MySpace page has been taken down but his picture in the profile does match his description (which is admittedly general), “a young white man who looked like a “fringe character,” in his mid-to-late 20s, clean-shaven with short hair.”

His purported Youtube account is also eery and littered with videos like this:

It’s obviously not a reach to say Loughner is sick and twisted—he did selfishly ruin the lives of many and deeply impacted the family of more—his online presence showed us his troubled thoughts long before today. [BuzzFeed via Village Voice]
