Apple’s New Head Of Global Security Is ‘Naval Warfare Information Expert’

With a title like “Director of Global Security” and a background in Naval information warfare and network vulnerability analysis, it seems like new Apple employee David Rice would be helping to guard secrets. But that might not be the case.

Working not only for the Department of Defence, but also the National Security agency, David Rice won awards and accolades for helping to create secure network infrastructures nationally and globally. Now, after time spent as an author and private consultant, working on the iOS platform would seem to make sense. [All Things D via Information Week]
