In an ideal world, every car would come with a Playstation 3 installed under the drivers seat with a copy of Gran Turismo 5 inserted, so you could sit in the back and pretend to drive the car you’re in around a racetrack without the risk of exploding in a fiery ball of pain when you crash. Sadly, this isn’t an ideal world, but thanks to our latest mod, we can do exactly that with the GizMod Rukus.
Thanks to our previous mods, installing a PS3 now means it’s a complete entertainment solution for the Rukus. The console can play games or Blu-ray movies across both the Pioneer head unit and the two rear headrest screens, and thanks to the BigPond Elite wireless gateway, can get online for both online gaming and the Playstation’s all-too-frequent software updates. The PS3 is also robust enough to handle the knocks and bumps of regular driving too.
