Microsoft are updating Xbox Live tonight, and with the update comes the ability to purchase movies through the Zune Video Marketplace, as well as stream them. Plus, you can take your movie with you!
According to Jinx at the InsiderX blog, there will be 491 films available for download after tonight’s update, and once downloaded, you’ll be able to take the film with you and watch it on your PC or Windows Phone 7 device. You will need to sideload the flick onto your phone via the Zune software on your PC for it to work though.
No word on price yet – although don’t expect it to be a huge bargain over anything else in the market. Still, more options to download video content is always welcome!
