Having a DVD kiosk stuck in a shopping centre never really made much sense to me. But sticking a DVD kiosk in a Pizza shop? Pizza and a movie for everybody!
A new trial partnership between RedRoomDVD and Pizza Hut will see DVD kiosks placed in Pizza Hut stores in Bondi, Marrickville and Doonside in NSW this month. Overnight rentals will set you back $2.95, payable by swiping your credit card at the store, and discs can be returned to any RedRoomDVD kiosk.
It’s a pretty good idea, and with the next step to be DVDs home delivered with your Pizza, this could be a lazy nerd’s dream come true. Well, it will be when they start offering Blu-rays…
