Does the PADACS Ultracharge become an actual bomb scare? It was time to find out.
A couple of weeks ago, I wrote up PADACS Ultracharge, an interesting battery charger pitched at the mobile gadget market, with the note that I was more concerned with whether it’d make it through customs given how relatively explosive it looked.
I got the chance to test that out today, taking it in a bag through customs at Sydney’s International airport. And the Ultracharge passed with flying colours, going through the scanners without raising an eyebrow. For whatever reason, the security staff were more interested in the jumper around shoulders than the contents of my bag.
Now, to see what happend when I bring it out on the plane. Hopefully nothing.
