Maurizio Cattelan’s latest art piece is a monument of a middle finger in front of the Italian Stock Exchange. The sculpture is about 13 feet tall, made from marble and probably the biggest eff you I can think of.
Interestingly, the statue is called L.O.V.E., but Cattelan says “[anyone]can read between the lines and take away the message they see for themselves.” I’m not exactly schooled in the arts but I think I can see the message quite clearly.
It’s currently at Piazza Affari in Milan (which is in front of the Italian Stock Exchange) and will be on view for 10 days. [designboom]
