Samsung’s 3D Blu-Ray Recorder With 500GB HDD Has Got Connections

title=If you like your Blu-ray players to also be Blu-ray recorders, support 3D and have built-in Wi-Fi, you’ll probably like the idea behind Samsung’s new C8900 Blu-ray recorder.

The C8900 will allow you to record both HD and 3D content to its internal 500GB hard drive, while internal Wi-Fi support means you get all of Samsung’s online services like Internat@TV and DLNA playback.

YOu’ll be able to upload movies, music and photos to the hard drive via USB, or record them directly from the built in HD tuner, but don’t expect to be able to rip your Blu-ray collection, least of all because 500GB would only give you 10 movies anyway.

No date or price yet for Australia, although it should hit the US later this month for $799.
