Theo Kamecke sees beauty in the common circuit board and thinks they deserve a place in homes and galleries. He's created a series of dazzling boxes and chests made from salvaged circuitry - though they may not be for everyone.
"Either you get it or you don't, either you like it or you don't," Kamecke explains. The vintage pieces have already found their way into the collections of James Cameron and H.R. Giger.
"I like to think that I am trying to make something comfortable and beautiful," explains Kamecke, who sticks with boards from the 60s for their handmade sophistication. "You don't need to understand much about computers to appreciate this." [Theo Kamecke via Wired]
