Kickback-Accused Apple Exec Must Allow Access To Safety Deposit Boxes Before Being Released On Bail

Paul Shin Devine, a mid-level Apple global supply manager accused of acception $US1 million in kickbacks in exchange for Apple secrets has already been caught stuffing $US150,000 into shoeboxes at his home. Now authorities are demanding access to his two safety deposit boxes.

The explanation given is that Devine is a great flight risk and that authorities need to know what's hiding in those safety deposit boxes before he is released on bail. [Bloomberg]
