Ever since HP's acquisition of Palm was announced in April, everyone's been clamouring about a webOS tablet. It could be very cool! And according to Engadget, Personal Systems Group VP Todd Bradley told HP employees that just such a product, codenamed Hurricane, was on track for the first quarter of 2011.

Japanese tire giant Bridgestone is hoping to beat Michelin’s so-called Tweel to the airless tire market with a new model launching soon for semi trucks, according to a report from Automotive News. Bridgestone’s airless tires use a web of recycled thermoplastic instead of pneumatic pressure to keep a vehicle rolling. These new tires have been tested to hold upwards of 5000 pounds (2267kg) each, and provide a major benefit to truckers as they never lose pressure, and are completely puncture proof.
