Saving attachments from Gmail just got a lot easier - if you're using Chrome. The latest update lets you save attachments by clicking, dragging and dropping them wherever you'd like.
Simple enough, but a very welcome feature for those who don't like to save everything to the same place. Your download still goes through Chrome's download queue, but arrives at your specified drop location. Hopefully, like Gmail's other recent HTML5-based improvements, this one makes it to Safari and other browsers soon after.
