With so many awesome Android phones available, why would you buy a crappy one? That's the question the Verizon Motorola WX445 faces because Engadget's source describes it as a Palm Pre but "cheaper looking" and "not a very impressive phone".
The Motorola WX445 (won't be its final name) is said to have a puny 2.5- to 3-inch touchscreen, a tiny 1170mAh battery and supposedly runs Motoblur. One redeeming feature is that it'll run Android 2.1, so it's not the worst thing in the world but there is just so much better out there. [Engadget]
