Optus Drops Samsung Galaxy S To $0 Up Front On A $49 Cap

When Optus launched the Galaxy S a week and a half ago, the cheapest plan you get get without paying for the handset was the $59 cap plan. But as Ausdroid points out, that has now changed, with the phone available on a $49 cap for $0 up front over 24 months.

Considering Telstra dropped the Desire to the same price point last week, I’d say that there’s quite a bit of healthy competition in the Android smartphone space at the moment. And it’s awesome…
