I cannot understand how we managed to get through to the year 2010 without someone creating this sooner. The Leg Opener bottle opener is the brainchild of Aussie Steve Martinez, who teamed up with Industrial designer Sam Deslandes to create a bottle opener with legs.
The Leg Opener uses a (apparently high powered) magnet to stick to the fridge, while the stiletto on the foot acts as the opener. For $30, it’s also reasonably priced. It took “years of development and perfection” to create, which should make that $30 purchase seem even better value.
Mind you, the name “Leg opener” makes me think of something quite different to a bottle opener. But maybe that’s just me.
