Sony Alpha 390 Is All Cheap And Specced Up

 title=It sort of got lost in yesterday’s political madness, but Sony just announced their new Alpha 390 DSLR for Australia. 14.2MP, live view mode on a tiltable 2.7-inch LCD screen, in-body image stabilisation and an APS-C CCD sensor, the Alpha 390 seems like a bargain for $799 in a single lens kit.

Other noteworthy specs include the HDMI output, lightweight design and a graphical user interface for beginners just stepping up to DSLRs.

But most intriguing is the fact that the twin lens kit, which will hit shelves in July alongside the single lens kit, will still only cost $999. For a DSLR with two lenses, that’s a pretty attractive price…
