Dyson’s Fans Multiply To Three

title=Dyson’s air multiplier fans were one of the best looking gadgets to hit shelves last year, but they were let down by one fatal flaw – not everyone needs a desk fan. So it’s great that Dyson have just announced that they’re boosting the range to include a tower fan and a pedestal fan model.

Both new models – the AM02 and AM03 – use the same bladeless air multiplier technology as the desk fan from last year. The AM02 tower fan is a metre high and 19cm wide, while the AM03 pedestal model can vary its height between 1.2 and 1.4 metres, and has an adjustable tilt and oscillation function as well.

The fans aren’t going to hit Australian shelves until some point later this year – Dyson want you to register your interest on their website if you’re keen on the new design. But a quick look at the Dyson site has both the tower and pedestal fans with a $599 price tag which is pretty much what we expected.

On the upside, at least now someone will be able to make a cool video using the AM02 tower fan and those long, balloon animal balloons.
