When Dell gave me a hands on demo of the Dell Streak a couple of weeks ago, they refused to confirm whether or not they were even going to launch the device, although their language sounded like it was definitely coming. Now, according to an online support chat with tipster Justin, the company seems to have confirmed that the Streak will be on sale by August.
As you can see from the screenshot above, Justin used Dell’s chat service option to ask about the 5-inch tablet/phone hybrid device’s availability and was given a response of “It will be launched by August”.
So if you were thinking about importing a device, it might be worth holding off for a couple of weeks to see what happens over here…
