Engadget has the goods on what appears to be a 3D Sony prototype camcorder called the EX3. Unlike many prototypes, they believe this one could be in consumers' arsenals fairly soon. Start saving. You'll see.
Features are pretty much unknown at this point. Beyond the obvious ability to shoot video in 3D, the EX3 has interchangeable lenses and... well, that's all for now.
As far as the price goes, we don't know just yet, but here's a guess: The E3X is being compared to Panasonic's AG-3DA1, which checks in at about $US21,000. [Engadget]
