Looks like there must be a lot of Aussies keen on the the iPad. On the pre-order page for the tablet on the Australian Apple store, the estimated ship date is now projected to be June 7.
Apparently nothing’s changed for people who had already pre-ordered with the estimated ship date of May 28, so this delay only affects people who pre-order between now and when the device goes on sale.
We’ll never know how many iPads have been pre-ordered here in Australia to force the shipping date back, but I’m guessing it’ll be a few. Who would have thought that many people would want an iPad?
