HTC is keeping the Android flood washing over Australia by announcing the HTC Legend for Voda and Three last night. It's the return of the chin!
The handset is pretty much wedged in the half-way point between the Hero and the Desire, running Android 2.1 and powered by a 600MHz processor. It has the HTC Sense UI with its social media friendly Friend Stream widget, plus things like the Desire's "leap" view to see thumbnails of all seven home pages.
The phone will launch on June 3 on Voda and 3, either $0 up front on a $49 plan over 24 months or $599 outright. The U.S. team called it the "best built phone they've ever held in their hands", which is pretty high praise, really.
