Froyo has been on the cards longer than I can remember, but thanks to a TechCrunch exclusive we now know that Android 2.2 will also support USB tethering for data connection, plus be able to create Wi-Fi hotspots.
Yep, Froyo looks to be all about the connections, but it will also have full Flash support and be much faster too - up to 450 per cent faster than Android 2.1. It's not known whether all carriers that will sell Android 2.2 phones will actually support tethering (AT&T infamously doesn't support it for iPhones), but with Google's might I'm sure there'll be no problem. Right, guys? [TechCrunch]
