What does a business do when it goes through a company wide mobile phone upgrade? What it should do is turn the old phones into a gigantic musical sculpture, like LBi in the UK did last year.
The process of making the sculpture is even more interesting than watching 50 dangling HTC Touch handsets play Choir of the Bells on a whim and is painstakingly described here. If you’ve got any interest in carpentry, coding, MIDI creation and somehow fusing them all together, I thoroughly recommend the read.
It’s still another seven-and-a-half months until Christmas 2010, but here’s hoping some phone manufacturer turns this idea into a proper marketing campaign.
