Fans of wireless charging rejoice, because Powermat are finally launching into the Australian market next month.

From the week commencing April 18, you’ll be able to grab Powermat boards and receivers, as well as bundles including both from JB Hi Fi, Harvey Norman, Myer and David Jones. All the bundles will set you back $200, while individual receivers will cost $50 a pop.

There are four bundles – each includes a board capable of charging up to three devices at a time, as well as your choice of either an iPhone receiver, BlackBerry Bold 9700 receiver, an iPod dock receiver or a power cube receiver which comes with eight different plugs for all your miscellaneous devices.

In terms of separate receivers, there’s options for the Curve 8900, Curve 8300, Pearl 8100, last generation iPod Touch, iPod Dock, iPhone (3G and 3GS only), Nintendo DS Lite, DSi and the Power Cube.
