Sharp Releases New LCD TVs – 3D Not Mentioned Anywhere

Sharp have added a 46-incher and a 52-incher to their LE700X range for $2,599 and $3,899 respectively. But the interesting set is the 46-inch LB700X, which has a built-in Blu-ray player, complete with BD-Live and support for the uncompressed audio formats. It’s only a wired connection, and there’s no internal storage – you need to plug in a USB stick for BD-Live – but it seems like a pretty simple solution for a 46-incher. Also, it only costs $2,899, which seems pretty reasonable. If you prefer your TVs to be Blu-ray’d up and not feature things like 3D or IPTV, that is…
