Alienware Launches The Australian Clan Challenge

 title=
PC gamers, here’s a spot of good news for you. Alienware today has launched the Australian Clan Challenge, an online Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare tournament that will culminate in a 5 on 5 clan final to see who’s the best PC gaming clan in the country. Plus, there are prizes!

The last two teams will be flown to Sydney for the final, with each member of the winning clan walking away with a $5,800 Alienware computer. Niiiiicccceeee…

But even better than that is the fact that Alienware are sponsoring over 200 Cybergamer Australian servers for Counterstrike: Source, Left 4 Dead, Call of Duty: Modern Warfare, and Battlefield 2. I’m not a PC gamer, but I know the importance of local servers, so this is a very nice touch for online gaming in general.

The competition will run from March 5 through to April 8, with the final on April 17. You can sign up your clan of up to five players (or hit the forums to find a clan of your own) at the Alienware Arena website.
