Just like their recent announcement about next year's Soccer World Cup, Optus has announced that their customers will be able to stream live broadcasts of the Australian Open Tennis tournament next month for free.
They're only streaming the same content that's being broadcast on channel 7, so it's not a way of watching your favourite star who isn't on TV. But if you enjoy your 3D version of Pong, and you're an Optus customer, then this isn't a bad little value add to your service. So long as the network is up to it, of course.
