So there have been quite a few of these Blu-ray community screenings over the past year or so, but they've all been restricted to viewers in the US. The latest Harry Potter flick however, the Half Blood Prince, is having a community screening that's global. That means you can actually take part, and chat with both Daniel Radcliffe and director David Yates while you watch the movie (or something like that anyway).
Sure this isn't the most relevant film for the Gizmodo audience, but it's still worth checking out if you own the Blu-ray movie and want to know what the whole community screening thing is about. You'll need to register your interest online, and you'll need to own a copy of the movie on Blu-ray (obviously).
The screening happens at 8pm London time on Saturday December 12, which is 7am Sydney time on Sunday December 13. If you give it a go, let us know what you thought of it in comments.
