The ‘Comes With Music’ service lets users download an unlimited number of copy-protected tracks for 12-18 months after buying selected Nokia phones. Problem is, it’s only in the UK and now Nokia has pushed its US arrival into next year.
AU: We’ve already got it. ‘Comes With Music’ is available in Australia with the Nokia 5800 XpressMusic.
Nokia didn’t elaborate on its reasons, but I’m guessing they’re still straightening out deals with US carriers. It’s also interesting that the news comes right after Apple officially sent out invites for its September 9 event that will likely include new iPods and an update to iTunes.
Sorry Fin fans, you’ll just have to wait. [Forbes]
