Powertraveller Bringing The Juice To Australia

powertraveller.JPGPowertraveller had a launch this morning to show off all the shiny new gadgets they’re releasing in Australia in the next few weeks to recharge your gadgets. This kit looks awesome! With a collection of charging solutions for pretty much every kind of gadget you can own, the range – of which everything is somehow named after a monkey – will be launching in David Jones stores around the country in the next week or two. It will also be available online through the Powertraveller website.

The products themselves include the Motormonkey, a tiny lighter charging station for your car; the Powerchimp, a pocket sized battery charger with a torch; the Solarmonkey, a solar charger that uses the Solarnut to reserve redundant energy; the Powermonkey classic, a portable charger that will give you an extra 40 hours on your iPod and charges via mains or USB; the Powermonkey eXplorer, which adds a ruggedised solar charger to the classic version; the Solargorilla, a big-ass solar panel for heavy duty recharging, and the Powergorilla, a portable charging station that will recharge your phone about 20 times.

All the products are built with military-grade wear and tear in mind, so they’re robust and tough. From the brief handson I had with the range, they really impressed with their build quality and design.
