It’s a pretty safe bet that we’ll be seeing more and more hybrid cars make their way down to Australia over the next coupl eof years. One of the first will probably be the Honda Insight, which was unveiled at the Paris Motor Show last year – we had a look at its crazy halo notification system back then too. Anyway, the guys at PopSci have had a bit of a test drive, plus a much closer look at the inner workings of the Insight, and it’s well worth checking out if you’re looking for a new hybrid, especially as it’s expected to come in a few thousand dollars cheaper than the Toyota Prius.There’s no word at present as to when we might actually see the Insight (or even if we’ll see it) in Australia, but it’s due for a Spring release in the US, which probably means late this year early next.
