It appears Microsoft's co-founder is a big fan of things that sink. Obviously an avid Beatles fan, Allen's latest toy is a fully functional 40-foot yellow submarine (not to be confused with a 40-foot Yello Sub, which would be an even worse investment). He's now a member of a small, exclusive clique of ultra-rich underwater explorers; about 100 personal submarines are floating around our oceans. Hopefully it came with better drivers than Vista (zing!). [Paul Allen's New Sub via Valleywag]

Earlier today multiple reports emerged online from tech reviewers who were dealing with extremely borked Samsung Galaxy Folds mere days after receiving them. One of the primary reasons for the device breaking seems to have been from the plastic film being removed from the screens. As it turns out, you're really not supposed to.
"Oh my god." "Is that real?" "How are they not edited!?" These exclamations, often peppered with jovial swear words, have been a common thread, woven throughout my personal interactions over the past three weeks. They have been in reaction to the photographs I have taken on Huawei's P30 Pro. The camera that has been injected into this phone is a marvel of engineering and its photos are truly something to behold.
