Avoid Boring Slideshows By Sharing Photos Via Email
Help! I am lost in a never ending family slideshow! We have fond memories of relatives showing us endless photos of their latest caravanning trip to Broome. One photo of the flat tire half way across the Nullabor Plain is OK. Twenty is not OK. The same with dogs. One photo is enough.
Twenty Cats I don't mind too much.
Today, our relatives are spread across the world. Getting together on long weekends to share the last holiday is not possible.
Windows Live Photo Gallery has a simple method of sharing images: that trusty mechanism called Email.
To make sharing easier and prettier, install Windows Live Mail. Here's why:
Step 1:
Select images using tags
Step 2:
Click on the E-mail button
Step 3:
The images you have selected now appear in a pre-formatted email; ready to send.
Click on the "Photos" button to reveal extra formatting options. In this instance, I have asked for brushed edges added to frame my images.
Step 4:
On the right-hand-side of the Photos options, I can change the images to black-and-white; and see the total upload size. By clicking on the "High" "Medium" or "Low" buttons, you can change the quality of the images, and therefore change the size and time taken to send your images.
Step 5:
On the Layout button, you can change the layout of the images: depending on the details and how much text you may add to your images; various options may be appropriate.
Click Send!
Now, whereever you are, you can send those 20 images of your cat to friends and family around the world.
