Creative sent through a release this morning stating that they were changing their business model. Originally I assumed it would have something to do with the new Zii platform, but after reading it through a couple of times, it sounds a lot more like they’re pulling operations out of Australia and running the show from Singapore. The smoke surrounding Creative’s rumoured offshoot, ZiiLabs, cleared today at CES, where it was revealed to be a media-application processor developer with a very slick system-on-a-chip, less consumer product than building block for many.
