Motorola’s second stab at an all-singing all-dancing Android tablet certainly has a unique shape. But that’s not nearly enough to make it a genuinely compelling tablet purchase.
Motorola’s announced that the Xoom 2 will be available for $720 outright or on a two year Telstra contract for $59 a month. At least they opted not to go for that silly ‘Xyboard’ naming scheme.
Droid Life has managed to get a hold of a few snaps (well, two) of what it believes is the Xoom 2 (or MZ617, if you’re into model numbers). Like most leaked images, it’s a tad grainy, but there’s no denying it’s a Motorola-something.
