An official Watchmen Toaster. I’m not sure I want to live on this planet any more.
Nobody yet — there’s no movie plans — but not one to let a profitable IP lie, DC has announced a series of Watchmen “Prequel” comics.
I dare you to try to listen to this retelling of Dr Seuss’s How the Grinch Stole Christmas without giggling repeatedly. Even if you haven’t read or seen Watchmen, it’s ridiculously fun and absolutely worth 10 minutes of your time.
Truth be told, we didn’t expect that the BD-Live screening of Watchmen hosted by director Zack Snyder would ever make it here to Australia. But we’ve had confirmation from Paramount that we definitely won’t get to sit back and chat with Snyder during the community screening US owners of the Blu-ray will experience.

The Watchmen Blu-ray will feature a normal and director’s cut of the film, a splitscreen “Maximum Movie Mode” that shares the screen between Zack Snyder and the film, plus it…connects to Facebook?
Sure, Wall-E had some dark overtones to it, but not as many as this fake trailer makes it seem. I want to see a movie-length remix like this. [Videosift via The Daily What]
I looked at the Watchmen 360. I tried to pretend it looked like a spreading tree, shadows pooled beneath it, but it didn’t.
